Foundations

A foundation is a nonprofit organization that receives donations for the benefit of a particular cause or purpose. Donations are typically pooled in an investment fund and carefully managed by a team of directors. Foundations seek financial gain from a wide range of investment vehicles while maintaining a clear, altruistic goal.
